4 BJP workers Resigned in Budgam

Kashmir, 9 Aug: Today morning suspected militants fired upon  a BJP leader in Kashmir’s Budgam district. This fresh attack has created fear psychosis among party cadre. Shortly after the fresh attack, four BJP workers from Budgam resigned from the party.
The said worker is battling for life in the hospital. A medico told news agency KNT that Hamid Najar has sustained bullet injuries in his leg and abdomen.


After this attack, at least four BJP workers took to social media and announced resignation from the party. These include Constituency President Wali Bhat, General Secretary Budgam Avtar Krishan, District Office Secretary Sameer Shah and District General Secretary Imran Parray.

Another BJP worker, identified as Shahzad Ahmed Bhat from Chowgam Devsar resigned from the basic membership of the party.

A few days back, several BJP workers announced their resignation after militants shot dead a BJP Sarpanch in Qazigund. (KNT)
