2 Girls Injured In Handwara

Srinagar Sep 15 : Two girls were injured in as many road accidents at Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching GNS said that a minor girl sustained injuries after hit by a speedy Maruti car bearing Registration number JK09-A 7733 near her residence at Khuroo Langate area of the district.

The injured has been identified as 10-year-old Rukhsana Akhtar daughter of Ashiq Hussain Bhat.

The injured was shifted to SDH Langate wherefrom she was referred to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment, the reports said.

However the driver of the vehicle fled the spot soon after the incident, the reports said.

In another separate incident i10 Maruti car bearing Registration number JK09-3 3223 hit and injured an 18-year-old girl at Jaggerpora area of Handwara.

The injured identified as Ulfat Ali daughter of Ali Mohammad Dar got injured in this road mishap this afternoon.

The injured girl is undergoing treatment at District Hospital Handwara and said to be out of danger. (GNS)
