Army Major among three injured in cross-border firing along LoC in Rajouri

Rajouri, Sep 15: At least three Army men including an Army Major were on Tuesday injured in a cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said, that Pakistan Army resorted to firing and shelling in locations of LoC in Keri Battal, Malla and other areas of Jammu and Rajouri district, located in Sunderbani LoC sector.

“Pak army carried out target fire on many Army LoC posts in which one Army Major, one Subedar accompanying him and one jawan received injuries,” they said, adding that one among them has received serious injuries.

They further divulged that the injured personnel are undergoing treatment.

Officials said that at least seven to eight forward posts of Indian Army came under heavy fire from Pak side and firing lasted for over two hours from 04:40 PM onwards—(KNO)
