In Collaboration with Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI, USA) Dr. Arfa Khan, Maha Asim Post Graduate Scholarships-2020
Iqbal Memorial Trust (IMT) in collaboration with Kashmir Education Initiative (KELUSA) a non-profit, non-political charitable educational organization is inviting applications from students belonging to Kashmir Province for Dr. Arfa Khan, Maha Asim scholarship for PG courses as per the criteria given below:
It is a merit cum means scholarship in which students would be sponsored for their Post Graduate courses preferably for
the streams like:
A) JOURNALISM
B) RESEARCH (BASIc SCIENCES)
C) LAW
D) ART & DESIGN.
Any other Conventional or Non-Conventional stream which will be considered only if no suitable candidate is selected/available from the above-mentioned courses. The Programme supports students who have secured admission in the current year ie, 2020 at the Postgraduate level.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Applicants must have secured at least 70% or 7.0 CGPA (marks) at their undergraduate level.
The total annual household income of the applicant should not exceed INR 500,000 (Rupees Five lakhs) per annum.
Applicants must have secured admission in PG courses in the academic session of 2020.
The students must have received a letter of acceptance for undergoing PG in the prescribed streams in the current year 2020.
All the information provided by the applicant will be verified through multiple sources, the application will be rejected if any information furnished by the applicant is found wrong
during verification.
The Amount of scholarship will be decided after evaluating the actual financial requirement in a particular university but shall not exceed the maximum limit prescribed for the given stream/course.
Preference will be given to students who secure admission through International &or National level Test/Entrance examn.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED:
The following documents need to be submitted along with the application form.
- Self Attested copies of marks certificates of Classes 10th and 12th.
- The consolidated mark sheet and Provisional Certificate of the Undergraduate program
- Offer/Acceptance letter of the institute/University where admission has been sought.
- Name of the Entrance Test with Ranking proof through which the admission has been secured Original income certificate signed by Tehsildar/Gazetted Officer of the concerned Tehsil.
- Aadhar card photocopy
