The National Testing Agency had on Monday postponed the National Eligibility Test (NET) after its dates were clashing with Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) exam. Earlier, the NET exam was scheduled to be held from September 16 to September 25 but now it will be conducted September 24 onwards.

Candidates need to appear at their own cost at the examination centre on the date and shift indicated on their admit card issued by the NTA. Any request to change the examination centre, date, shift, and NET subject provided on the admit card will not be considered under any circumstances.

It should be noted that candidates will not be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on date and timings other than that allotted to them in their admit card.

Candidates are advised to preserve their UGC NET admit cards in good condition for future reference. It should also be noted that admit cards will not be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria for the examination.
