A family member of Brkati told
over the phone that the Forces barged into the house of Barkati in Reban and detained the religious cleric who was recently released after more than four years of detention.
He said that Barkati has been arrested by the Police for reasons unknown. “We do not know why he has been picked up,” the family member said.
A Police official posted in Shopian however denied Barkati being arrested. “The reports are fake,” he said.
