The students were raising slogans against the government and expressing anguish over the delay of their appointments.
Speaking to a local channel Jammu Parivartan the students said “ we have been waiting for the joining for long now. The final list had more names but they have only chosen 300 now. If we don’t get the joining this time we will be over age for the next year. we have qualified with good points and done well in GD as well but the government is still stalling. If our demands are not met we will become Militants and Jammu will see things it has never seen before. We will fight the BJP and the government on this. This government’s attitude will turn us into Militants which we do not want.”
Candidates said that they have spoken to BJP Jammu Head Ravinder Raina who assured them that the matter will be sorted but nothing has been done so far.
The Candidates appealed to the LT Governor and MoS Jitendra Singh to look into the matter and resolve their issues immediately. They also said the protests will continue till their demands are heard.
