Kahuta: Arsonist set
fire to the jungle of Salaitha in Punjaar, burning a large amount of baby and
antique pine tree to ashes.
Brigadier
(retd) Javed Satti along with his family will reach the spot as soon as they
get the report of forest fire in Salitha area of UC Panjar last night. And
this process of extinguishing the fire continued till night time due to which
not only the wild birds were damaged but also crores of small trees would be
lost. Birds, animals and trees were burnt alive Brigadier (retd) Javed Ahmed

Secretary Asghar Hussain Kayani, Additional Secretary Kabir Janjua, young
journalist Arsalan Asghar Kayani and Tehsil Zakat Committee Chairman
Inayatullah Satti were present on the occasion.
Javed Satti
said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would have announced 3,000 guardians but so
far Environment Minister Malik Amin Aslam Forest Department officials have not
taken any action. He said that there are 80 forests in the entire constituency
if the guards. Once, deployed forests can be saved He further said that the
government spends billions of rupees on the Million Tree project while nine
trees are burnt by nature.

Club Kahuta while Inayatullah Satti said. If the forest is not protected, it

forests. On the
occasion, Raja Imran Zameer and Asghar Hussain Kayani said that we have always
tried to solve the problems of the area and convey them to the higher

He said that it was a great achievement of Brigadier Javed Satti to bring the
Prime Minister to Panjar and order 3,000 guards for the forest. He said that
funds of Rs. 45 million are required annually for this.
He further
said that Brigadier (retd) Javed Satti not only lit the candle of knowledge but
also played the role of saving the forests. Journalists visited the difficult
areas and demanded from the government that the forest department should be
immediately guarded. Deployment orders should be issued. The people of Bakkar
also expressed concern over the loss of plants in the forest and said that they
are not legally allowed but the department officials take money from them and
