Drug peddler/Absconder arrested by banihal police
On 25-07-2020 during naka checking at jawahar tunnel South portal one vehicle bearing Reg no. JK19-5447 driven by its driver namely Naseer Ahmed S/O Gh Mohi Din R/O Doligam Tehsil Banihal was stopped for checking and during the checking 800 gms charas like substance was recovered from the said vehicle after recovery above said driver was arrested on spot whereas the main accused namely Firdoos Ahmed @Jiya S/O Ghulam Qadir R/O Tantrypura Doligam tehsil Banihal fled from the spot after the commission of offence.
On this information case FIR No. 110 /2020 U/S 8/20/29 NDPS Act got registered at police station ,and during the investigation every effort was made to trace out the accused Firdose Ahmad who was evading his arrest after the commission of crime but could not be arrested during the investigation.
on 21-10-2020 challan of the case was produced in the court of law in absence of accused Firdoos Ahmed and warrant u/s 299 crpc was issued by Hon,ble session court Ramban.
Special teams were constituted on the directions of SSP Ramban Sh Haseeb Ur Rehman for execution of the warrant and to arrest the Absconder namely Firdoos Ahmed @ Jiya S/O Ghulam Qadir lone R/O Tantrypura Doligam tehsil Banihal age 35.
Finally on 14-03-2021 the said absconder was arrested from Diyala check kathua by police patry of police station banihal under the command Insp Nayeem ul Haq Mattoo SHO ps Banihal and under the supervision of SDPO Banihal shri Ashish Gupta , Addl. SP Rajni Sharma and overall supervision of SSP Ramban Sh Hasseb Ur Rehman.
After the arrest the absconder has been produced before the Hon'ble Session Court Ramban who has been sent to judicial custody and warrant u/s 299 crpc got executed.
