Unknown persons on Monday morning attacked the Block Development Council Chairperson, Fareeda Khan in the Sopore area in North Kashmir.
Fareeda Khan is a member of Bhartiya Janta Party.
As per initial inputs received by The Kashmiriyat she was injured in the attack along with two other persons, The Trio were referred to the nearby hospital, where the Policeman and the civilian succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, the Government Forces have rushed to the spot and launched a massive manhunt to nab the attackers.
