CRPF trooper killed after hit by train in central Kashmir’s Budgam



Srinagar, Aug 29, TDP: A 32-year-old CRPF trooper from Bandipora was killed after being hit by a train near railway bridge Humhama in central Kashmir Budgam district, officials said. 

An official told news agency the dark press (TDP) that paramilitary trooper identified as Mohammad Ismael Mir son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, a resident of Neeru Tulail in Gurez of 35 battalion of G-company, deployed at Railway Bridge Humhama was hit by the train, resulting in his on the spot death.

 He said Mir was immediately referred to SMHS Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A police official told TDP that legal proceedings have been initiated in this regard. (TDP)
