The protesters included residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and other activists. They were protesting against the Israeli ethnic cleansing policy against the Palestinians.
It is pertinent to mention that in two days, an Israeli court session will consider a decision to forcefully expel 4 Palestinian families from their houses in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
The protestors raised slogans against Israel, rejecting their policy of ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.
The Israeli forces used a number of stun grenades and skunk water to quell the peaceful protest.
A day before yesterday, another protest had taken place at the entry to the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, in which the Israeli forces prevented the protestors from entering the neighborhood.
And as per the Quds News Network’s latest, two days right before the court rules the evictions of these families, the Israeli forces also stormed the Al-Kurd family’s house in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and assaulted civilians.
