BUDGAM: A man was injured after being hit by a bullet during a cordon and search operation in the Khag area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday afternoon.
Quoting official sources the news agency KNO reported that the man identified as Bilal Ahmad Rather son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather a resident of Chairhara Khag was injured after being hit by a bullet in his leg.They said that the man was shifted to Khag hospital and is stable, while investigation has been started.
Earlier a joint team of army’s 62RR and SOG cordoned off Drang Khag forests and started searches there.
