KULGAM, OCTOBER 12: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting to review the status of projects funded under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) of NABARD in the district.
At the outset, DDM NABARD, Rouf Zargar gave a brief overview of RIDF and eligible activities under the said fund.
It was informed that as many as 48 projects are funded under RIDF of NABARD in the district under different sectors including R&B, PHE, I&FC, and Health department with a combined outlay of 165 crores.
While reviewing the progress on these projects, the concerned Executive Engineers apprised the DDC about the physical as well as financial progress on these projects and deliberations were also held to address various issues related to fund flow, submission of Project Completion Certificates, Utilization Certificates of the projects besides issues hampering progress of non-starter and slow moving projects.
The DDC urged the implementing agencies to speed up expenditure in the ongoing projects and urged the agriculture and allied departments to come up with DPRs to avail the projects under NABARD.
