On Monday morning, Jammu Kashmir police on it’s Twitter handle claimed that forces have neutralized a militant in Gund Jahangir area of Bandipora district.

Another tweet reads as “Killed #terrorist has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar affiliated with proscribed #terror outfit LeT (TRF). He was involved in recent civilian #killing at Shahgund #Bandipora: IGP Kashmir”
The family members, however, said that Imtiyaz was innocent and was killled in cold blood.’
A female mourner among hundreds of women gathered at the house of the slain said that, “The night when the killing took place, he was at home.” He left the home in the morning with clothes and went to the paddy fields where he worked along with me, his sister said.
She further said that “Someone called him and said that forces have raided our home, he feared and left the fields after taking tea.” Adding that “Army picked up him near a nearby bund.”
The family members said that “He was a labour and is innocent,” claiming that he was killed in cold blood.
They appealed the higher authorities to intervene into the matter and also ensure that they get Imtiyaz’s dead body back.
