Official sources told The dark press (TDP) that snowfall in the area started late last night as predicted by the weatherman.
They said that due to fresh snowfall in Gurez and at Razdan Pass, the only road link connecting Gurez with rest of the world has been closed for traffic movement.
They said that light snowfall was also witnessed in other hilly areas of this north Kashmir district, while plains received rainfall.
Meanwhile, SDM Gurez Dr Mudasir told KNS that Gurez valley has received at least three inches of snowfall since late last night.
He said that the Razdan Pass, located around 12000 feet above sea level, has received at least 8 inches of snow, due to which the road has been closed for vehicular movement. (TDP)
