it is to mention here that the water supply schemes have failed however; the harsh days of Chillai Kalan are yet to come. The pipe lines have either got blocked or frozen at many places as the lines were not put underground as per prescribed schedule. The lines were kept in open. The department installed a water supply scheme in the year 2019 but it failed soon after its inaugration. The govt exchequer was looted by the deptt in association with local contractors and the long pending demand of public got ruined before it was fulfilled. The people of the area are facing difficulties due to non availability of fresh drinking water as the water supply scheme which costed lakhs of rupees got failed due to negligence of the PHE deptt.
The local contractual employees who were working hard to keep it functional also have not been provided with any equipments by the deptt. Now they have also failed to give any relief to public due to negligence of the deptt.
We the people of Buglinder constituency humbly request LG monoj sinha.jal shakti dept.sdm gurez.tehsildar gurez.district administration bandipora especially DC Bandipora to kindly look into the matter before next spell of snow so that we will not have to face more difficulties during harsh winters.
