In a statement issued to TDP, Raja said, i expressed gratitude and sincere thanks to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for his prompt intervention into devastating blaze of Kilshey Gurez where 15 houses turned into ashes and rendered families homeless in this harsh winter.
Aajaz raja said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's Media Advisor Yatish Yadav informed him that Lieutenant Governor directed the district administration Bandipora to conduct an on-the-spot assessment & provide immediate relief to the affected families.
He said that, i am being told by Media Advisor that, admin have immediately supplied blankets, essential commodities, household utensils and immediate cash assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh (15K to each family), besides every possible support shall be extended to the families.
He said that media advisor assured that rehabilitation shall also be arranged wherever required. "Relief of Rs 1.10 lakh to each affected family whose residential structure has been completely damaged shall be released tomorrow under SDRF norms," he said.
Raja said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinhas' magnanimous authority ventured optimistically and gave a prompt response to the affected families at Kilshey Gurez. "We blissfully extend our gratitude to his unforgettable support. Leaps and bounds do come in life but the kind authorities like him always heal the scars with an ointment of generosity," he added.
