Medical and Dental Camp was Organized By Indian Army in Patro Village:Keran

where no admin reaches out on the ground for people,Indian Army has been a helping hand for the people.

Keran in North Kashmir's kupwara is a far flung area and people always suffer there for the basic facilities.

Indian Army always helped the people and solved the basic grievances. Under Sadbhaavna operation A medical and dental camp was held by Indian Army in Patro village of Kupwara's Keran Area.

The key points of the Camp were:


1. As part of operation Sadbavana and continuous efforts to reach out to all sections of the society, Indian Army organised a Medical and Dental camp in Patro village. The camp was inaugurated by the proud parents of Sepoy Amjad who is a first generation solider from Patro village. The camp was widely advertised to locals through notices and announcements.Three Army Doctors including one dentist attended to more than a hundred people. 


2. The purpose of the camp was to provide basic medical and dental consultation with free medicines to the needy in the remote village. A class was also conducted on ''Nutrition Deficiency in Children and Women''. People were also educated about precautions against COVID-19. 


3. A total of 130 people including 50 children 21 women and 59 men were attended to benefited from the camp. The medical camp has been a very successful outreach program to provide necessary medical assistance in remote area. The locals appreciated the efforts of Indian Army and were grateful for its contribution in making Kashmir healthy and prosperous.
