Talking to reporters, Andrabi after laying the foundation stone said that there was a need to replace the old pulpit (mimber) with new one. “The new pulpit in the name of Shah-e-Hamdan (RA) is being constructed. The previous pulpit had to be replaced as it was not renovated for a long time,” she said.
She further said that the Eidgah has its historical significance and the Waqf Board after constructing a new pulpit, will renovate the ground as well.
The Waqf Chairperson also said that Eid prayers will be offered at Eidgah if the weather permits. (KNO)
