Srinagar Sonamarg Gumri Road (SSG) will remain closed for traffic movement from tommorow till Monday for the maintenance work along the Zojila Axis.
According to an order by SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir a copy of which lies with Rising Kashmir In view of maintenance work on Zoji La axis along SSG road all sort of vehicular movement shall remain suspend from 1700 hours of 9th of April, 2023 till 1600 hours of 10th of April, 2023 from Gagangeer onwards. Therefore, no vehicle shall be allowed from Gagangeer towards Zoji La during said period.
As such all Ladakh/Sonamarg bound motorists are informed through the medium of this advisory that they should avoid travel along Gagangeer-Zoji La axis during instant period, the order reads.
