“Focusing on Empowering Local Youth and Addressing Unemployment Challenges”
Ganderbal, [20-7-2023] – The Youth Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference (YJKPC) organized a transformative and empowering event, the WISE Programme, in the scenic town of Ganderbal. The event, held in the presence of esteemed leaders, YJKPC President Mudasir Karim, General Secretary Azad Parvaz, and Mr. Omer from Ganderbal, served as a rallying point for the region’s youth to address crucial issues such as unemployment and the lack of empowerment initiatives under the JKNC tenure, especially in Manasbal, Ganderbal.
During the WISE Programme, President Mudasir Karim delivered an impassioned speech that revolved around empowering the youth and fostering their potential to create a bright future for themselves and the nation. He emphasized the need for inclusive growth, where every young individual has access to opportunities regardless of their background, caste, or creed. Mudasir Karim stressed that it is high time to create an environment where the youth can thrive, explore their talents, and contribute meaningfully to society.
One of the critical points discussed during the event was the concerning issue of unemployment among the youth in Jammu and Kashmir and highlighted the pressing need for targeted policies and initiatives to address this challenge effectively. He emphasized that YJKPC aims to collaborate with both the private and public sectors to create more job opportunities and skill development programs. The ultimate goal is to empower the youth with the necessary tools to secure their livelihoods and build a prosperous future.
Furthermore, the WISE Programme shed light on the perceived failure of the JKNC (Jammu and Kashmir National Conference) in Manasbal, Ganderbal, in terms of providing adequate empowerment opportunities for the region’s youths. The YJKPC leaders acknowledged that during the JKNC’s tenure, there were glaring gaps in youth-oriented initiatives, which has hindered the progress and potential of young individuals in the region.
The event saw the active participation of local youth, who expressed their grievances and hopes for a better future.
The Youth Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference concluded the WISE Programme with a renewed commitment to continue advocating for youth empowerment, employment, and overall development. YJKPC vowed to work closely with the young minds of Jammu and Kashmir, striving to bring about a transformative shift that empowers every individual and revitalizes the region’s prospects.
