Srinagar July 17: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) State Spokesperson Sujada Bashir On Monday called upon District Administration Srinagar over the arrangements for Muharram -ul-Haram. In a statement to the press, she stated that all the areas where Shia population resides should be given proper attention in terms of basic facilities including uninterrupted water and power supply . She also sought repairment of dilapidated road conditions in order to avoid any inconvenience to the Shia community.
Sujada said, "District Administration Srinagar should gear up preparations for Muharram -ul-Haram. The Shia dominated localities need proper attention including street lights, smooth road connectivity, availability of portable drinking water supply in and around the Imambaras.
