“Interactive Session Aims to Strengthen Student Association, Tackle Drug Menace, and Empower Tomorrow’s Leaders.Paving the Way for Positive Transformation”
In a remarkable display of unity and determination, students hailing from diverse colleges and regions of the valley recently joined forces with the Youth Wing of the Jammu & Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC) to foster an interactive session aimed at strengthening the Youth JKPC Students Association. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim, State Media Analyst Syed Liyaqat, and Joint Secretary of Srinagar, Zulfikar.
The gathering proved to be a platform for vibrant discussions on critical issues affecting the student community, with a particular focus on combating the drug menace within college campuses and providing comprehensive support to students facing various challenges.
 The session brought together students from various colleges and regions, each contributing a unique perspective and fresh ideas. The representatives included Asif Khursheed from GDC Handwara, Shoaib Mushtaq from Amarsingh College, Aqib Mushtaq from GDC Aloochibagh, Shafeeq Ahmad from GDC Boniyar, Saheem from GDC Kralpora, Hawaad from GDC Baramulla, Shoaib Dar, and Adeel from Kashmir University, along with Sehar and Nuzhat Manzoor from Women’s College Srinagar.
Participants engaged in candid discussions about the pressing issue of drug abuse in educational institutions. Strategies and preventive measures were brainstormed to ensure the safety and well-being of students while maintaining a drug-free environment in colleges.
 The interactive session underscored the importance of offering multifaceted support to students. This support extends beyond academics to address mental health, career guidance, and socio-economic challenges that students may face during their educational journey.The event also saw the emergence of student representatives and coordinators from different colleges and regions. These dedicated individuals will play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, addressing student concerns, and driving positive change within their respective institutions.
The presence of Youth JKPC President Mudasir Karim, State Media Analyst Syed Liyaqat, and Joint Secretary Srinagar Zulfikar added gravitas to the proceedings, underlining the commitment of the JKPC to empower the youth and address their concerns.
