AIP's Protest For Hike in Electricity bills in Tangdhar Sparks Swift Action from JKPDD

"Peaceful demonstration against electricity bill hikes leads to immediate action, as JKPDD delegation commits to visiting Karnah
 to address issues"

In a remarkable display of political efficacy, the Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) successfully galvanized immediate governmental action following a protest against the recent hike in electricity bills in Tangdhar. Spearheaded by Abrar Rashid, son of Er. Rashid, the AIP team held a peaceful demonstration that swiftly drew attention to the grievances of the local populace.

This demonstration came on the heels of a heated political discourse where certain self-proclaimed leaders circulated allegations suggesting that the AIP, despite its strong showing of over 20,000 votes in the LS2024 elections, would neglect the concerns of the Karnah region. Challenging these claims, Abrar Rashid and his team took decisive action, arriving in Karnah within 12 hours to lead the protest.

The protest not only underscored the AIP's commitment to its constituents but also yielded immediate results. Within 12 hours of the protest, the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD) announced that a delegation led by their SE along with a representative of AIP would visit Karnah to address the electricity bill hike issue. This quick response from the JKPDD is seen as a significant victory for the AIP and a validation of their proactive approach.

The swift action taken by the AIP and the resultant governmental response have put the party's detractors on the back foot. Efforts to discredit the AIP and its leadership have backfired, with the protest's success highlighting the party's dedication and influence.

The residents of Karnah are now hopeful that the visit from the JKPDD delegation will lead to a resolution of their issues. Meanwhile, the AIP's prompt and effective action has reinforced its standing as a formidable political force, demonstrating their ability to advocate for and deliver on the needs of their constituents.
