Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir – In a display of unparalleled bravery and commitment, the Indian Army’s Chinar Warriors came to the aid of stranded tourists amidst unprecedented snowfall that cut off the road to Tangmarg. Responding swiftly to a distress call from the civil administration, the troops evacuated 68 tourists, including 30 women, 30 men, and 8 children, from perilous conditions.

Beyond the evacuation, the Chinar Warriors extended their assistance to 137 affected individuals, providing warm shelter, hot meals, and medical care to ensure their safety and comfort.
