Karnah Valley Students Demand JKSSB Exam Centre Amidst Mounting Hardships

"Traveling Across Sadhna Pass Poses Financial and Physical Strain; Students Urge MLA Javid Ahmad Mirchal to Intervene Swiftly".

Students from the remote and densely populated Karnah Valley are raising their voices, demanding the establishment of a JKSSB examination center in their area. Faced with no steady income and harsh travel conditions, they struggle to reach examination centers on the other side of the treacherous Sadhna Pass.

The journey not only imposes financial burdens but also subjects students to physical hardships, especially during harsh winters when the pass becomes perilous. Highlighting the pressing need, the students appealed to MLA Karnah, Javid Ahmad Mirchal, to urgently address this issue.

“This is not just about convenience; it’s about equality. Students from other regions have access to nearby centers, so why should Karnah students suffer disproportionately?” said one of the students.

They emphasized that establishing a local JKSSB examination center would ease their struggles and provide a fair opportunity for education and employment prospects. The students urge immediate intervention, hoping their plea will not go unheard.
