"Nearly 90% of Disrupted Power Feeders Restored Across Kashmir, Relief for Residents".
Amid heavy snowfall that disrupted power supply across Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has commended the Power Development Department (PDD) for its remarkable efforts in restoring electricity.
Out of 41 dysfunctional 33KV feeders, 37 have been restored and recharged. Similarly, 639 out of 739 affected 11KV feeders have been brought back online, bringing significant relief to residents across the valley.
“The majority of the remaining feeders are expected to be restored by evening,” Abdullah shared in a tweet, adding, “Kudos to the PDD team for their relentless efforts in this snowfall in such a short time.”
The swift response has drawn widespread appreciation, highlighting the PDD’s dedication to maintaining essential services during challenging weather conditions.
