In a scathing critique of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), Ex-BDC Langate and senior Awami Itihad Party (AIP) leader Showkat Pandit has accused the JKNC of deceiving the people by failing to fulfill promises made in its election manifesto. Speaking at a public gathering, Pandit emphasized that the AIP remains steadfast in its mission to advocate for the rights of the people and address their grievances.
“The people gave their mandate to JKNC, but what have they delivered? They’ve turned their back on their promises. Unlike them, the AIP, under the visionary leadership of MP Baramulla Er. Rashid, has always prioritized public welfare,” Pandit stated.
Highlighting AIP’s grassroots efforts, Pandit revealed that the party has established fully functional Public Relation Offices in every district to address local issues. He also announced the creation of constituency-level bodies dedicated to resolving grievances and strengthening the party’s connection with the masses.
“The AIP is not just a political platform; it’s a movement for justice. We are here to listen, act, and bring real change to the lives of our people. This is our commitment, and we will always stay true to it,” he affirmed.
