In a powerful statement, the Awami Ittihad Party (AIP) has demanded immediate reforms to address the longstanding exploitation of vocational trainers in Jammu and Kashmir. Rashid highlighted the dire plight of these unsung heroes shaping the future of students, many of whom have endured over a decade of neglect, exploitation, and indignity.
"Vocational trainers are the backbone of our educational system, yet they are subjected to shockingly low salaries, a complete lack of job security, and the greed of private intermediaries," said Inam-un-Nabi. "Some have even died in service without their families receiving due compensation. Justice cannot wait any longer."
Senior AIP leader and MLA Langate echoed the urgency of the matter, calling on the government to frame a comprehensive job policy for these hardworking and well-qualified trainers. In a recent tweet, he emphasized that vocational trainers deserve dignity, job security, and benefits equal to those of other government employees.
