In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has initiated an inquiry into allegations of irregularities in the recently declared results of the JKP Constable Telecommunication examination. This move comes after aspirants raised serious concerns over discrepancies and questioned the transparency of the recruitment process.

Speaking to The Kashmir Graph, JKSSB Chairperson Indu Kanwal Chib assured that the Board is committed to addressing the issue. “The members have been tasked with conducting an in-depth inquiry into the matter. We have given them a specific timeframe to investigate and uncover the facts,” she stated. Chib emphasized the Board’s dedication to ensuring a fair process, adding, “Let us see what comes out of it.”

The controversy erupted after aspirants alleged that some candidates who performed exceptionally well in the Telecommunication and Photography exams had previously fared poorly in the JKP (Executive/Armed/SDRF) paper. The discrepancies raised doubts over the selection process, prompting widespread demand for a transparent investigation.

The aspirants have called on the JKSSB to ensure accountability and fairness, emphasizing that the credibility of the recruitment system is at stake. As the inquiry unfolds, all eyes remain on the Board to deliver a comprehensive and impartial resolution.
