"Massive discrepancies in JKP Telecommunications exam spark outrage as PDP Youth Leader accuses JKSSB of jeopardizing J&K’s future, questioning the government’s accountability."
In a scathing critique of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), PDP Youth Leader Iltija Mufti has alleged massive irregularities in the recently conducted JKP Telecommunications exam. Highlighting glaring discrepancies, Mufti pointed out that candidates who topped the exam had performed poorly in earlier constable exams, raising serious doubts about the fairness and transparency of the process.
Speaking on the issue, Mufti stated, "JKSSB continues to jeopardize the future of Jammu and Kashmir's youth by failing to ensure a credible and transparent examination process. These discrepancies are not just administrative lapses but deliberate acts that crush the aspirations of deserving candidates."
The leader also criticized the government for shirking accountability, accusing it of abandoning the promises it made to the youth. "The government that came to power riding on lofty promises has conveniently washed its hands of any responsibility. They have left the youth of J&K to grapple with broken systems and shattered dreams," she remarked.
The controversy has sparked outrage across the region, with candidates and youth organizations demanding an impartial inquiry into the alleged malpractices. Many view this as yet another instance of systemic failure that erodes trust in public institutions and undermines opportunities for J&K's youth.
As the calls for justice grow louder, the JKSSB and the government face mounting pressure to address the allegations and restore faith in the recruitment process. Whether accountability will be enforced or if this too will be swept under the rug remains to be seen.
