"Public urged to stay away from forested areas as rising fires devastate ecosystems and endanger wildlife."

The lush forests of Karnah are under grave threat as an alarming increase in forest fires wreaks havoc on the region. The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah has issued an urgent advisory, emphasizing the need for immediate public cooperation to safeguard these vital ecosystems. The fires, exacerbated by dry conditions and human negligence, are endangering wildlife, destroying vegetation, and putting nearby homes at risk.

Authorities have attributed these fires to unattended campfires, discarded cigarette butts, and activities like illegal timber collection. "Our forests are not just our heritage but also our lifeline. Their destruction is a loss for us all," the SDM stated in the advisory, urging residents to take responsibility for protecting this green treasure.

Residents have been instructed to refrain from visiting forest areas, while village heads and local guards are tasked with maintaining strict vigilance and recording any unauthorized movements. Furthermore, officials have been directed to halt all activities within forest zones and mobilize resources to combat this growing crisis.

"This is a critical moment for Karnah," the advisory stressed. "These forests are the foundation of our ecosystem, and we are losing them day by day. It's time for collective action to protect what remains."

As efforts to control the fires intensify, the administration calls on everyone to work together to save Karnah's green legacy for future generations.
