Sainik School Nagrota Clinches Best Band Trophy At 76th Republic Day Parade In Jammu

Sainik School Nagrota has once again showcased its excellence by winning the prestigious Best Band Trophy (Boys) at the 76th Republic Day Parade held at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu. The honor was conferred upon the school during the grand Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29, 2025.
Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, presented the coveted trophy to Lt Col Amit Selot, Officiating Principal, and Cadet Uday Kumar, Band Contingent Captain, in recognition of the school's exceptional performance.
The school band, trained under the expert guidance of Ex-Hav Showkat Ahmed Khan, delivered a spectacular and synchronized performance, mesmerizing the audience with their disciplined movements and melodious tunes. Their dedication, precision, and spirit earned them the top honor at the grand event.
Expressing immense pride in the cadets' achievement, Capt (Indian Navy) Shibu Devasia, Principal, Sainik School Nagrota, stated:
"This is a moment of great honor for all Nagrotians. The dedication and hard work of our cadets have once again placed our institution at the pinnacle of excellence."
