The State Bank of India (SBI) Karnah branch has bolstered healthcare services at the Public Health Centre (PHC) Gabra by donating equipment worth ₹2 lakhs as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The contribution includes a 2400 kV generator, office furniture, airport chairs, high-back chairs, and a water dispenser with a cooling cabinet, aiming to improve the center's infrastructure and service quality for the local community.

The official handover ceremony saw Branch Manager Nasir Nabi and Field Officer Nazir Ahmad present the equipment to Dr. Shafi Mallah, Medical Officer of PHC Gabra. Speaking on the occasion, Nasir Nabi emphasized SBI’s commitment to uplifting underserved communities: "This initiative underscores our dedication to addressing critical community needs and fostering regional development."

The donation has been lauded by PHC staff and residents, particularly for the generator, which will ensure uninterrupted operations during frequent winter power outages. Dr. Mallah expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the upgraded facilities would significantly enhance patient care and create a better work environment for medical staff.
