On the eve of the 76th Republic Day, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Zaffar Lone, led the celebrations in Tangdar byunfurling the National Flag at the Mini


Secretariat. The ceremony, marked by patriotic fervor and unity, saw an impressive gathering of approximately 1700 people from across the region.


The event commenced with the unfurling of the Tricolor, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, evoking a sense of pride and patriotism among the attendees. In his address, SDM Zaffar Lone emphasized the importance of Republic Day, lauding the sacrifices of freedom fighters and urging citizens to uphold the principles of democracy, unity, and development.
