This critical route, connecting the remote border region of Karnah with the rest of Jammu and Kashmir, has been rendered impassable due to the treacherous conditions.
Authorities have reported that the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is on standby to commence snow clearance operations as soon as the weather improves. "We are closely monitoring the situation. Once the weather permits, the road will be cleared and reopened for traffic without delay," a BRO official stated.
