Advocate GN Shaheen Mourns the Loss of Prosecuting Officer Saima Yousuf

Legal Fraternity in Shock Over the Passing of a Brilliant Lawyer

Srinagar, February 27(TKG)The legal community in Jammu and Kashmir is in deep mourning following the passing of Prosecuting Officer Saima Yousuf of KP Road, Anantnag. She breathed her last today at 4 PM at SKIMS after a six-year-long battle with cancer. 

Her demise has left an irreplaceable void in the legal fraternity, with lawyers and the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association (JKHCBA) expressing profound grief and condolences.

Advocate GN Shaheen, Vice President of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) and former General Secretary of JKHCBA, paid tribute to Saima Yousuf, calling her passing a great and irreparable loss. "Saima Yousuf was not only a brilliant lawyer but a person of exemplary human values and professional excellence. Her humility and dedication to justice set her apart," Shaheen stated while mourning her death.

He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to her sister, Additional Public Prosecutor Nadish Yousuf. "May Allah grant her Jannat-ul-Firdous and give strength to her family to bear this immense loss," he added.

The legal fraternity remembers Saima Yousuf as a beacon of integrity, hard work, and compassion. Her contributions to the justice system will continue to inspire generations of lawyers. 

Her untimely demise is being felt as a deep personal loss by her colleagues and friends, who describe her as an outstanding professional with unwavering dedication to her work.
