Karnah, February 27: Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency Incharge Inam Un Nabi has expressed deep concern over the non-availability of electricity in Karnah for the past two days, causing immense hardship to the local population.
Taking immediate cognizance of the issue, MP Office of Er Rasheed reached out to the STD Division of the Power Development Department (PDD) to seek urgent resolution. According to officials, their men and machinery were deployed today and reached Section 2 (beyond TP), but due to adverse weather conditions, further movement was not possible.
Inam Un Nabi stated, “We understand the distress faced by the people of Karnah due to the power outage. The authorities have assured us that as soon as the weather permits, restoration work will be completed within a day.
We urge the administration to prioritize the issue and ensure that essential services remain uninterrupted, especially during harsh winter conditions.”
