Kupwara, Feb 21(TKG): The Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely passing of senior advocate Khawaja Naseem Akbar of Karnah. His demise has sent shockwaves through the legal community, particularly within the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Srinagar.
Prominent political and legal figures have paid tribute to the late advocate, acknowledging his unwavering commitment to justice and the legal profession.
Senior AIP leader and MLA Langate, Sheikh Khursheed Ahmad, extended heartfelt condolences, describing Akbar as a "respected legal luminary whose contributions to the legal field and dedication to justice will always be remembered." He emphasized that Akbar’s passing marks a great loss not only to the legal community but also to society at large.
Advocate Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, AIP Vice President and Former General Secretary of the High Court Bar Association, also expressed deep sorrow, calling Akbar "a principled advocate whose relentless pursuit of justice will remain a guiding light for young lawyers." He conveyed solidarity with the bereaved family, offering prayers for strength in this difficult time.
