Tangdhar, February 7, 2025 – The Public Works Department (PWD) has issued a critical public notice regarding a scheduled blasting operation on Chota Kursi Road. The operation is set to take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM, during which movement along the road will be strictly restricted to prevent any untoward incidents.
The Executive Engineer of the R&B Division Tangdhar has formally informed the public, urging residents and commuters to steer clear of the affected area for their safety. The notice underscores the necessity of the blasting operation and highlights the authorities’ commitment to ensuring smooth roadwork completion while prioritizing public well-being.
In an official communication, copies of the notice have been shared with key administrative officers, including the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Karnah, Tehsildar Karnah, Assistant Executive Engineer of R&B Tangdhar/Teetwal, and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Karnah. The SHO has been requested to deploy police personnel to monitor the area and restrict unauthorized movement.
Local authorities have also urged community leaders and Lamberdars to disseminate the information to the public to prevent any disruptions or accidents. Residents are advised to plan their travel accordingly and avoid the route during the designated hours.
