Karnah kupwara(TKG): In a remarkable initiative fostering national integration and awareness, 25 students from five states visited Tangdhar and Tithwal as part of the Border Area Youth Exchange Programme, organized by Nehru Yuva Kalyan Sansthan, Kupwara. The visit offered the young participants an immersive experience, blending history, culture, and the spirit of resilience
The contingent explored the Azmat-e-Hind Memorial, a tribute to India's military legacy, and paid homage at the sacred Sharda Devi Temple, an enduring symbol of cultural and spiritual heritage. They gained profound insights into the region’s rich military history, marked by the valour and supreme sacrifice of the Armed Forces in multiple wars and battles. The visit also highlighted the cultural unity and indomitable spirit of the people of Karnah.
At the Shakti Vijay Brigade Headquarters, the students were introduced to the Indian Army’s initiatives in developing educational infrastructure and empowering the youth of Karnah. They were deeply inspired by the Army’s commitment to progress, education, and skill development in the border region
The students, overwhelmed with excitement, expressed immense pride and gratitude for this unique opportunity. Their visit not only broadened their perspective but also instilled a deep sense of patriotism and admiration for the resilience of the border communities.
