Karnah,28Feb(TKG): The strategic Sadhana Pass-Karnah-Chowkibal NH-701 has been completely closed due to heavy snowfall and continuous rainfall in the past few days, significantly increasing the risk of landslides and avalanches in the region.
With 5-6 feet of snow accumulating at Sadhana Top and adjacent areas, authorities have declared an Avalanche Warning Level 4, making movement highly unsafe.
The SDM Office Karnah’s Control Room has urged residents and travelers to strictly adhere to the no-movement advisory to prevent any loss of life.
