Srinagar | February 11, 2025 – In a major political and legal triumph, Engineer Rashid, the sitting Member of Parliament from Baramulla, Kashmir, has finally entered the Indian Parliament after a prolonged and arduous legal battle. This moment marks a significant victory for democracy, justice, and the people of Jammu & Kashmir, who have stood resiliently by his side.
Advocate GN Shaheen, Vice President of the Awami Itihad Party (AIP), hailed this development as a historic and emotional milestone for the people of J&K, expressing deep gratitude to all those who played a role in ensuring Engineer Rashid’s parliamentary rights.
