Kupwara, Feb 10 – Security forces have recovered a significant cache of arms in Amrohi village of Tehsil Karnah, Kupwara district, heightening concerns over possible militant movements in the region. Acting on intelligence inputs, forces seized two AK rifles, two AK magazines, and multiple rounds of ammunition from a concealed location.
The recovery has prompted intensified security measures along the Line of Control (LoC), with officials suspecting the arms were intended for infiltration-related activities. Investigations are underway to trace the origins of the cache and any potential links to militant groups.
