In a significant development, Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-E-Muhammad (JeM) is set to share a stage with Hamas in Rawalakot, Pakistan Illegal-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PIOJK), on February 5, 2025. The event, organized under the banner of "Kashmir Solidarity and Hamas Operation ‘Al Aqsa Flood’ Conference," marks a growing collaboration between these groups.
● Jaish Revival With Hamas Support:
According to intelligence sources, JeM is attempting to reassert itself with backing from Hamas. Talha Saif, brother of JeM founder Masood Azhar, will be present along with key JeM figures such as Asghar Khan Kashmiri (launching commander) and Masood Ilyas (commander). Additionally, commanders from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) are also expected to attend.
● Presence Of Hamas Leadership:
For the first time, Hamas representatives will be visiting PoJK, with Dr. Khaled Qaddoumi, Hamas’ representative in Tehran, Iran, set to address the gathering. Other Palestinian figures associated with Hamas will also receive a warm welcome.
● Government Involvement:
The event is expected to be attended by the PIOJK Prime Minister, political leaders, and security officials, raising concerns over the Pakistani establishment’s tacit support for such groups. The gathering is scheduled to take place at Shaheed Sabir Stadium, Rawalakot, PIOJK.
● Security And Global Implications:
This development has raised alarms within intelligence circles, with security analysts warning of the implications of a JeM-Hamas nexus. The presence of senior terrorist leaders at a public event in PIOJK further highlights the region’s role in facilitating such elements.
