Karnah Valley: Journalists Must Unite for Progress, Not Indulge in Leg-Pulling

Opinion-Karnah Valley, with its breathtaking beauty, remains geographically isolated and economically deprived. The region faces immense challenges, from poor infrastructure to a lack of basic amenities. Instead of addressing these pressing issues, many so-called journalists are engaged in leg-pulling, criticism, and political affiliations that do nothing to serve the people.

True journalism is about shedding light on regional grievances and amplifying the voices of the unheard. It is about holding authorities accountable while remaining ethical and unbiased. However, the unfortunate reality in Karnah is that some journalists seem more interested in personal rivalries and political favoritism than in their actual duty.

If journalism is to be a tool for change, then those in the profession must unite and work for the betterment of society. The people of Karnah need development, not division. They need advocacy, not unnecessary criticism. Journalists must uphold ethics, stay away from political incarceration, and focus on real issues that affect the region.

This is a humble request to all journalists: set aside differences, stand together, and work towards the upliftment of Karnah Valley. The power of the press should be used for progress, not personal agendas.
