Beacon 109 RCC, District Administration, and Indian Army Ensure Safe Passage for the Deceased
Karnah, Kupwara(TKG) – In an extraordinary display of coordination and commitment, the mortal remains of two individuals were successfully transported to their ancestral home for final rites and burial, despite the harsh weather conditions and road blockages.
The crucial operation was made possible through the relentless efforts of Beacon 109 RCC, which, in close coordination with the District Administration and the Indian Army, worked tirelessly to clear the Karnah-Kupwara road for vehicular movement. As soon as the snow clearance was completed, a priority passage was granted for the transportation of the deceased, ensuring that their families could bid them a final farewell.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, IAS, played a pivotal role in managing the safe and hassle-free movement of the mortal remains. The concerted efforts of Tehsildar Kupwara and Tehsildar Kralpora, who accompanied the operation in their respective jurisdictions, were instrumental in facilitating the transfer.
Meanwhile, Tehsildar Karnah received the mortal remains at Sadhana Top during the intervening night, ensuring their safe journey to their final resting place.
This coordinated effort reflects the unwavering commitment of the administration and the armed forces in serving the people of Karnah, even in the face of extreme adversity. The safe passage of the deceased stands as a testament to the efficiency and dedication of those who worked tirelessly to uphold human dignity in the toughest conditions.
