Pulwama, Sep 14: A brief exchange of fire took at parigam village of Pulwama district on sunday late afternoon between Millitants and security forces
An official told that a brief exchange of fire took place sunday between militants and government forces in parigam area of Pulwama district .
He said that as forces approached towards suspected spot, militants opened fire on government forces which was retaliated, leading to brief exchange of fire between the two sides.
Immediately Massive cordon and search operation was launched to nab the hiding Millitants
Earlier on specific information about the presence of militants, joint team of forces including 55RR, Police and CRPF launched cordon and search operationand launched search operation in the area, the official said
However CASO ended peacefully, without any contact established with Millitants
As a precautionary measure internet services were snapped in pd pulwama, which were later restored today morning
