Ex Mla Gurez Faqir Mohammsd khan  has greeted people on Eid-ul-Fitr, felicitating the Muslims for successful Ramadan prayers while urging them to keep the hope of peaceful and prosperous times alive given the divine blessings that come at the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his message, khan said that Eid like last year has come at a time when mankind is facing the challenge of the novel coronavirus pandemic. He urged the Muslims to pray for peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir and end of the pandemic and for the wellbeing of the global community.

Khan  further urged people to avoid large congregational prayers given the fact that the threat of COVID-19 is menacingly looming large. He exhorted charitable organizations and common masses to extend a helping hand to the people whose livelihood has been hit by the pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
“We as a society are duty-bound to help each other amidst the trying circumstances and ensure that those who are downtrodden, destitute, and needy get our helping hand without delay”, he added.
